Wanna lose 4lbs in a week?
A client of mine recently came into the gym and admitted to putting on some unwanted weight over the holidays.
Hey, it happens!
When they expressed their desire to lose that weight, I told them step one was food journaling. We can’t really make dietary adjustments if we don’t know what we’re actually consuming.
Please note, I didn’t tell them to eliminate carbs or eat baked tilapia and broccoli. Just food journal.
About 6 days later they came into the gym and said “Well, I’m down 3.8lbs since I started journaling.”
MAGIC
There are a lot of reasons people THINK they’re not losing weight, but most of the time they’re overeating and not realizing how much.
If you’ve “tried everything” to lose weight, keep an honest food journal for 7 days and I guarantee you’ll find the problem.
And if you need a seasoned coach to help you figure it all out, hit me up

What’s actually hard
I’d argue it’s easy to lift weights on a regular basis.
It’s easy to do cardio (walking counts) on a regular basis.
It’s easy to get the supplements and protein powders and consume them on a regular basis.
But permanently changing your eating habits, that’s the hard shit
If you want your body to change, your nutrition has to change.
It’s possible to out-train a shitty diet…if you’re in your 20s, have superior genetics, get plenty of sleep, manage your stress, and exercise 2-3 hours a day.
For the rest of you, what you shove in your face hole will largely determine how your body looks.
It’s why #75Hard works so well, or any diet, because it puts parameters on what you should be eating for optimal health and body composition. If you’re not willing to address the food side, don’t be disappointed that you’ve been consistently working out and not seeing the results you want
Land your eating plan right side up and take full advantage of the fruits of your labor.
